drink till your drunk and you can no longer stand.
chug the bitter fluid till your friends say your a man.

smoke the paper down till its nothing more then ash.

snort the line of powder till there's fire behind your eye.
its the first of many occasions that its natural just to cry.

might as well keep going, you never finish once you start.

suck the cigarette to its filter, its the least of your concern.
theres a fire raging in you, and so it will always burn.


or you could just breathe. breathe slowly. and then breathe deeply.
you could work 8 hours a day, and at night you could be sleeping.
you could eat when you are hungry. and drink when you have thirst.
your friends may not feel like living, but damnit you could be the first.
you could smile when you are happy, and cry when you are sad.
you could love the ones around you, your mother and your dad.
you could try and walk through reality, with its ups and with its downs.
it might be the deepest lake you've swam. but i promise you wont drown.
